Field Trip DaysOur last field trip took us to Millennium Park to see Liszt Concerto no.2 from the lawn! Students enjoyed snacks and great weather while listening to pianist Kirill Gerstein play with the Grant Park Orchestra! This picture is of Mr. Frank analyzing the score to the concerto with one of his students, Malcolm. Our next field trip will be in September. Details TBD! Stay tuned.  Student of the month!Meet Josie! Josie is 10 years old and studies with Ms. Emily. Her most recent accomplishment was upgrading to 45 minute private lessons this month! She is very focused and excited to have more weekly playing time! Josie played Beethoven's famous Für Elise at our Summer Concert in June! What a treat for everyone in the audience. It was especially inspiring to our younger students! Josie's also working on some fun repertoire like "You'll Be Back" from the hit musical Hamilton. We love Josie's enthusiasm at each lesson and her desire to play all kinds of music! We're proud of you Josie, keep up the good work!
